
Sasquatch Mountain Ski Resort
Just a couple of hours from Vancouver, near the scenic Harrison Hot Springs, Sasquatch Mountain Resort is a must-visit ski destination in British Columbia. Formerly known as Hemlock Valley, this underrated ski hill’s 2024/25 winter season ran from December 21 until April 6.
Sasquatch Mountain is one of the Lower Mainland’s best-kept secrets, offering incredible ski conditions in a breathtaking alpine setting. While many Vancouverites are familiar with popular spots like Cypress and Grouse, Sasquatch remains relatively undiscovered. The resort continues to grow in popularity, boasting some of the region’s best snowfall and terrain in good years.

Important Travel Notice
Winter conditions on the mountain roads can be challenging. All vehicles are required to carry properly fitting tire chains when driving up to Sasquatch Mountain Resort during the ski season. While they don’t need to be installed unless necessary, you must have them in your vehicle.

Sasquatch Mountain Resort’s address is 20955 Hemlock Valley Road in Agassiz, BC.
It’s conveniently located in Fraser Valley, east of Vancouver, and close to Harrison Hot Springs, making it a perfect winter getaway.
Note: Don’t confuse Sasquatch Mountain Resort with Sasquatch Provincial Park! The park is located on the opposite side of Harrison Lake, about an hour’s drive away.

2024/2025 Sasquatch Mountain Lift Tickets
Sasquatch Mountain uses dynamic pricing, meaning lift ticket costs vary depending on how early you book and the day of the week. Below are estimated price ranges from January of 2025:
Adults (19-74): $69 – $99
Seniors (75+): Free
Youth (13-18): $59 – $89
Children (6-12): $49 – $79
Kids (5 & Under): Free
Night Skiing at Sasquatch Mountain
Love skiing under the stars? Last season Sasquatch offered night skiing every Friday and Saturday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at no extra charge for full-day pass holders. 2025/26 details are to be confirmed. Night skiing rates from last season were as follows:
Children (6-12): $49
Youth (13-18): $59
Adults (19-74): $69
Kids (5 & Under) & Seniors (75+): Free
Popular night skiing trails include Bigfoot (Intermediate – Blue), Dream (Beginner – Green and Chaser (Beginner – Green).

About Sasquatch Mountain Resort
Unlike the North Shore ski resorts that primarily serve Vancouver, Sasquatch Mountain is the closest ski destination for Fraser Valley residents and beyond. The resort boasts wide, open terrain and diverse runs suitable for all skill levels.
There are 7 beginner (Green) runs, 12 intermediate (Blue) runs and 16 advanced (Black Diamond) runs.

Though Sasquatch Mountain has older ski infrastructure with slower lifts, it makes up for it with lower prices, fewer crowds, shorter lift lines, and excellent snow conditions. The resort is also in early planning stages for a major expansion, which could make it one of the largest ski resorts in the Lower Mainland, with new lifts, golf courses, a marina on Harrison Lake, and even more terrain.
Note: Sasquatch Mountain is a no-smoking resort—this includes vaping and smoking anywhere on the premises.

Currently, Sasquatch Mountain has five ski lifts, including:
Whistle Punk Double Chair
Sasquatch Triple Chair
Yeti Cruiser Quad
Two conveyor surface lifts
These facilities are comparable to Mount Seymour, which offers a high-speed quad, two double chairs, and a beginner carpet lift.
